Great news! We have extended hours available for urgent psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Adults 18-64 years only.

This is a valuable service provided to residents of the Washington DC metro area in order to:

  • reduce or avoid unnecessary and costly emergency room visits for routine psychiatric needs

  • enable individuals receive timely mental health assessment and treatment

  • prevent worsening of symptoms and possible psychiatric hospitalization

Urgent care appointments are provided via telepsychiatry/online video visit or at our Washington DC office location.

Since we are limited as to the number of patients we can see daily after-hours, we currently require checking availability and scheduling appointment online.

Hours of Operation: Thursday to Saturday | 5pm – 9pm (last appointment at 8pm).

  • Please submit or bring your photo ID and insurance card (if applicable)

  • Complete the new patient intake form prior to the appointment to expedite your visit.

  • Co-pay and full payment (if self-pay) is due at the time of service.

NOTE:

  • We do NOT prescribe controlled substances such as stimulants (e.g., Adderall, Ritalin), benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Ativan), or opiates (e.g., Percocet, OxyContin, Suboxone) in an urgent care appointment.

  • We encourage you to have a regular Psychiatrist for continued psychiatric care. You can share the record of your visit and recommended treatment plan with your Psychiatrist.

  • We recommend that you check your benefits and coverage with your insurance company prior to scheduling an appointment.

If this is a life-threatening emergency such as having thoughts of hurting yourself for others, hearing voices, experiencing severe unusual medication side effect, drug overdose or withdrawal symptoms, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
